I've been burgled by two—no, three.
Three women looted and plundered me.
They took not what I had—I gave.
They took me, and took me, depraved.
I was robbed and completely free,
Three times—my all, my me.
It was more than my all in my mind—
In giving myself, I lost me.
The possessiveness of possessions is one;
The possession of one is another.
The possessiveness of one whom you love—
Succumbing, you want two to be one.
One wants you, not just all of your all—
To own you, and one you as two.
Two times I have wondered and fell.
No—three, three times I've wandered in hell.
