The Vial

A vial of a thing
is vile to a thing;
it exists in the vial—
without vile existing.

Vile—the noun—
is not around;
it’s never found
in a gown,
with a frown—
in a crowd.

A vial of a villain
is not evil itself—
nor is pure evil;
the polluted vile—

evil—the thing—
is not a noun,
to begin;
in beginning.

Listen close;
in a looking lens—
to telescopes tell;
the microscopes say:

eyelids disclose—
things exist unseen;
and among them
evil evades a vial.

I name a noun;
and frown and sink—
evil cannot exist;
unless existence is evil.

Evils do hurt—
they verb;
evil harms—
it usurps.

It evils about
as a verb without.

The adjective too—
who does evil to you;
through its vice—
in its empty vial;

the evil one—

becoming—
by nature;
the evil doer—

is being harm;
it’s being hurt—

doing against—
undoing defence;

being against—
things unbecome;
good is undone—
and wrong becomes;

to evil as do
is not being vile—
not merely—
servile;

but to evil is to
be the vial—
being evile;
being that is vile—
serpents lie;

eviling things:
a smile;
a good—
a style of should—

against a body;
a body that could—
would what is good—
someone undone;

“it is good”—
He sees—
and goodness is;
the stuff we breathe—
the seas we hear;

but doings—
do we care?
doing well;
or villainy—
evile:

we deform;
we deface—
we hurt and harm;
we take—

a chicken—
is for chicken;
its chicks and for our children—
not for fucking by people;

function informs—
fucking inflicts;
dehumanisation—
destroying creation;

the cultural mood—
it is food for pain;
it is feeding a stain—
for the good is plain;

the wrongs we write—
written within our own;
are not rights of our flesh—
but being disowned;

doing unwell—
ungooding done;
evils oneself—
and hurting one’s harm:

being self-harmed—
bringing hurt to the hurt;
being hurt in our earth—
by eviling our worlds.
