Ulandi Court
A wonderwald
A lost kingdom
A hidden world
A gingerbread
House of straw
That broke the back
Down on all four
Dolerite quarry
It split and tumbled
Down on my head
I tripped and fumbled
The weathered boards
Twas I was cracked
Coming so loose
Nails all slacked
The disrepair
The maintenance
The enormity
I had no chance
We’d saved the Ramas
But snared myself
Out of the fryer
The heat we felt
And flooding dam
And winter bleak
The freezing air
With fires that leak
And vermin too
And stinging weeds
The dying grass
Their copious seeds
Trash amid beauty
The endless dust
The dead of night
And the jagged rust
A place for laughter
And parties fun
But my slow demise
Had only begun
